With the start of the trading session at the MICEX currency section the Russian Rouble rate decreased in pairing with the uSD amid sale of the pair EUR/USD at Forex.
Thus, trading session for the USD started at the level of 30.32 roubles, which is 7 kopeks more than yesterday’s level; the EUR started movement at the level of 39.81 roubles (-10 kopeks).
Dual currency basket value has changed only slightly since morning, by 3 kopeks today and amounted to 34.61 roubles.
Therefore, the rate of the domestic currency reacts to the positions of the EUR/USD at Forex. It was the last day of VAT tax settlement in Russia, due to which demand for the Russian currency will decline now at the internal market.
Presumably the pair Rouble/Dollar will not go beyond the range of 30.20-30.50 roubles for the USD at the trading session on Wednesday.
